Wage & Hour Rights and Responsibilities
Wage Payment: Employee rights consist of:- Spend for all earnings made (INFO # 3) at the rate consented to by the employer and employee.

Labor Statutes, Rules, & Published Guidance
Statutes & Rules: DLSS enforces a number of Colorado's wage and hour and other kinds of labor statutes and labor guidelines, including the Colorado Wage Act, the Colorado Overtime and Minimum Pay Standards (" COMPS Order"), and the Equal Spend For Equal Work Act. Written Demands, Complaints, & Investigations
Demands & Complaints for Wages: If an employer owes you earnings, you can send your employer a composed need for payment of incomes by mail, email, text message, or other electronic means. A written demand employment might be sent out to the employer at the very same time a Labor Standards Complaint Form for overdue wages is filed with the Division. Employer Responses in Investigations: Once a complete Labor Standards Complaint Form is received and reviewed, a letter explaining the nature of the complaint and the quantities declared to be owed is sent out to the company. Investigations Launched by the Division (" Direct Investigations"): The Division may conduct employer-wide direct examinations of potential offenses of Colorado wage and hour law. If you wish to submit an idea, please email the Division at cdle_di_tips@state.co.us. If you want to file a specific claim for overdue wages, you should fill out a Labor Standards Complaint Form on our Demands, Complaints, Responses, and Settlements webpage. To appeal a direct examination citation or several Notices of Assessment, an alleged employer might submit a Direct Investigation Appeal Form.
